Fellow Humans On Reddit,
I will, over the weekend, post my chapter and book titles (all or any may change). But right now, I have a few questions.
For a year or so, I've been writing about Nicholas Claus, Father Of Christmas and A Holy Figure. I've created a whole origin/history from his birth until Santa Claus and the Creation of Christmas Valley/North Pole City and beyond. I've added yetis, polar bears, Frosty the Snowman, the wedding and love live with Mrs. Claus, and recently actually started creating a character who's Immortal and Ancient. The name for now is Noah Brisk.
While not completely done (combining four different versions), I have stumbled on a problem that I cannot answer alone. Originally, it was a prequel then people said on other answers and the internet to change into chapter one. I did so. This has led me to 10,121 words on 24 pages. Do I need to divide it into two chapters? Or make a separate short story? HOW?!
My other question is the amount of pages or words and if they actually matter to readers. Is there a limit of words or pages? What do you all think about long chapters? I think this is my only chapter but I could do a few more combined (4 into 2).
What do you all think?!

PPS. If you would like to read the prologue or the whole (16-20 chapter) story, please do so. I can email or use Google Docs and post on here. If enough want to read, then I will post on here. You all can critique more than I'll say.
