Hey everyone!

So, I'm finally nearing the end of this draft of the novel (at long last, oh man) and in one of the final chapters my MC receives a letter from someone who used to work for him. I'm not going to go into too much detail (mainly because it would require a lot of explaining to make sense, ahah) but I'm not really sure how I should go about formatting the letter within the novel.

See, I'm kind of against changing the font just because I think it'll look very…jarring? But also, I'm not sure that four or five pages of italics will be too kind to the eyes either. I'm not really sure how I should go about doing it without messing it up. I want to be able to begin the chapter without going straight into the letter, but if I keep my same font and avoid italics, I don't know how I'll distinguish between my MC's thoughts/actions and the letter since I write in first person.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
